I greatly enjoy helping students with their studies. I tutor a wide variety of courses, ranging from elementary math to pharmacology and many courses in between. I think that good writing, reasoning, and critical-thinking skills are important for everyone to master in order to be as successful in life as well as academically, and I enjoy teaching my students these necessary skills. I currently work in the field of medicine, and it combines the joy I get from helping others with my love of science. I earned my bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology, at Jacksonville University in Florida. I then attended the Kettering College of Medical Arts in Ohio to pursue my graduate degree and to perform my medical rotations. While in college, I volunteered as a tutor to local elementary school students who needed a little extra help in their classes. I also worked as a teaching assistant for biology, anatomy, and physiology classes, as well as several others. When not tutoring, I love participating in sports. My skill in rowing earned me a college scholarship. I also enjoy playing soccer and basketball. In addition, I love to travel, write, and practice photography. In the past, I even played in a band.
